Hand-picked among the best, Allpest is the overall winner for 2011 Sirens Award. Winners in other divisions include ads by SBS TV and VB Beer.The ad for Allpest "We don't negotiate with Rats" were described as "essentially bland topic", it centres around a confrontation between two housemates and the unwanted housemate turns out to be a rat who is being evicted because he defecated on the floor constantly.
"The ad stood out from the pack purely due to the fact that it was very funny, creating a very memorable and humorous commercial" says the judge and previous winner of SIren Award, Richard Williams from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.
The Siren Award is a national annual advertising award held annually by Commercial Radio Australia designed to enhance and encourage creativity and excellence in radio advertising.
